Will it bolt on with no modifications?

1968 or newer should not require any modifications with the exception of the occasional alternator clearance issue

1961-1967 Requires slight modifications but still considered an easy install

Are there any fuel economy gains?

NO. You will gain performance in your machine but fuel economy gains are highly unlikely.

What carburetor will it support, will it be jetted to match?

The intake for the webber style carb, uses original webber, Chinese style or Empi style.

The Delardo style will bolt on but we are not sure of clearance in the engine compartment at this time.

They come with the factory baseline jet which is set for a 1200 or 1300

What should the engine timing be set at?

Most turbo and blower engines run between 26-28 degrees total advance but that depends on fuel type and mechanical compression. 8.1 compression is recommended, the higher the compression the less the timing

What needs to be upgraded to add the blower kit?

As long as you have an engine and transmission that is in proper working order no upgrades are required.

Does the blower kit have a warranty?

Fully inspect the kit upon arrival to make sure nothing was damaged in shipping. Upon install if there are any defective parts notify us immediately and management will get ahold of you. But there is no post initial install warranty do to its high performance nature of the product.

Can anybody install it ?

If you have any basic mechanical abilities yes you can install it. I will post YouTube videos giving step by step direction on how to install . The most difficult part will be jetting the carb for your specific engine.

Will it make my car run HOT?

The blower and the lower intake tube does get hot on extended drives. But the engine heat increase is minimal.

Do I need to run a boost gauge?

Not necessary, but recommended. Its always good to know what your engine is doing.

What cars will this fit?

Depending on the kit you choose.

Should I run a wideband ?

If you want to be right on the money, Yes.

But if your old school like me, I read what the plugs look like after test drives and judge by vehicle response.

What engine will the AMR-500 adapt to ?

Single and Dual port from 1300 to 1914
